April will not be due for payment until near the end of march.
You can click this link to make a payment through paypal directly to our serverhost instead of donating through paypal to me. This will directly fund HOP without going through me.
Server Payment


Website, forums, Download Server for files and bandwidth on HOP is set to be paid on March 19, 2008.
The cost for renewing these for another year will be $71.40 USD Any amount submitted for donation through the PAYPAL DONATION on the main page will go toward renewal of the website, download server and bandwidth. Any excess will be put toward HOP monthly fees.


Tonight is my last night on HOP for quite a while. Unfortunately, I will not be able to fund HOP for quite a while so I'm offering up all of this to those that wish HOP to stay alive.

If the website renewal does not get paid then the website will disappear entirely. The download server will be gone and the bandwidth as well. This means no addon files for HOP whatsoever unless we have it download directly from the HOP server...which causes lag and extremely slow downloading of any files needed.
This means, HOP can exist without the download server, but it will have no custom maps, no additional files...it will be an empty shell of what HOP is now.

I will be able to stop in now and then but for the most part I will be gone until further notice.

I hope the main concern of site renewal can be taken care of before 03/19/2008

To play on HOP please use PBSetup to update your ET installations. You can manually download the latest file from this Download Page though I don't recommend using that method unless you encounter problems with PBSetup.

January Server Fees

Hello everyone. I'd like to thank everyone for continuing to play on HOUSE OF PAIN and being a part of this community. Due to events in recent months I've had difficulties in continuing to fund the server and forums, though where I was lacking in abiity others have stepped up to assist. The costs for December were paid for entirely by donations from thoughtful members of this community, and now the costs for the server to see another month (January) has also been paid for. I would like to thank each and every person that has donated to help keep HOP from disappearing for a month or two until I am sorted and able to return once again. We are now going on well over 2 years of continuous service and up time of HOP for the gamers that enjoy playing here. I hope there will not be a break in this record of a month coming where HOP will not be here for gamers to enjoy. There is currently a single digit amount available from donations to go toward the cost of the server for February. Every bit of every donation has always and will continue to go toward keeping the server running as best as it possibly can. I know we've had a few hiccups in the last few weeks and the server has been a bit flakey, but I hope all will be sorted soon. With website costs for renewal of the domain and hosting coming in February I hope to make a return to stable times before that time comes. Thank you for being part of this community and I sincerely miss playing games on HOP with all of you.
